Netty: Welcome to my crazy new world of cupcake baking for the lovely people in my life. I am a self-taught baker with an adoration for all things cupcake. Among other things, I am stay at home Mom & wife. One of my favorite past times is sitting in front of the oven with the little oven light on, watching cupcakes rise. I love the sound and feel of parchment paper, I love cookie cutters, I adore my treasured butter yellow Kitchen Aid mixer I bought for myself when I was single! I love searching for adorable cupcake wrappers & creating unique handmade toppers, dreaming of collecting vintage cake stands & I love trying new recipes & decorating techniques. Fondant flowers? A new icing tip? Love it. My favorite feeling is to make something yummy & lovely to look at, & to give it to someone as a bday gift, holiday gift, or just-because. There's nothing like receiving a home-baked present. When I make a batch of cupcakes for someone, I'm always thinking of them while I'm mixing & getting covered with flour. There's usually music playing as I smile & relax & get excited to give this little labor of love to that special someone!
