These beachy themed cupcakes were made for loyal customer Cathie for her block party today. She always gives me great themes to work with and a pleasure to bake for. Today, besides the warm welcome I always get when I arrive with cupcakes, she gave me a little homemade picture holder. I put my business card in it for now. How adorable is that and it made me feel very special.

Surf's up! It was such a pleasure to make these cupcakes for new customer, Chrissy. Her son turned ONE and she went with a surfing beach theme. Watch out for the sharks!
In the Summer of 2012,I was asked to make cupcakes to kick off the summer. It's now 2013, and I was asked to make Summer cupcakes for a Block Party just as it's coming to an end.
Lindsay, a loyal customer, contacted me and gave me specific colors and selected items for the theme and I loved her idea about a red solo cup! So clever, so witty!
School's out? That means it's officially summer for those kids no matter what the calendar says! My friend, Olimpia contacted me and requested a summer theme for her son's last day at his preschool. It was a lot of fun thinking of summer's must haves like watermelon, sand castles, beach balls, kites, and my personal favorite, ice pops. The ice pops were totally inspired from Lynlee, (Petite Cakes) once again!
I hope that all the kids in Mathew's class enjoy these cupcakes !!
