Sarah's Sweet 16!
LuAnn is a special woman in our family's life. She is an amazing teacher, advocate, Mom and extraordinary human being. That said, when LuAnn needed me to make cupcake favors for her beautiful daughter, Sarah, I was very happy to be able to do something for her and her family. Sarah is a beautiful outgoing sixteen year old who wanted a night to celebrate among her friends at Tutto Pazzo restaurant in Huntington, NY. Sarah looked like a real princess with sparkle and she was eager to party. Family and friends had a wonderful night to celebrate with this amazing family. It was my pleasure to be able to make LuAnn's planning easier. These chocolate cupcakes were adorned with light blue flowers and banners. The guests would be able to take home a sweet treat. Happy Birthday Sarah!!!
Bella's Glamour Party!
Bella is turning SIX and her mom, Amanda, asked me to make cupcakes to match the colors on the invite.....I think it came out great. Bella is such a pretty girl who will probably never ever need any makeup but girls love to play and have their pretty little nails done too. Made me happy to hear the cupcakes were a hit. I posted a little late on the blog but makes me happy to know the cupcakes were almost as pretty as the birthday girl!! Happy Birthday BELLA!
Mathew's FIVE!!!
I can't believe friends Robert & Limpy's son, Mathew is already five years old. I've made cupcakes for his classroom celebrations over the years but for some reason I was stunned to hear he was already "a whole hand!" Mat wanted train direction lights, all the familiar signage for trains but no actual trains. Too cute! Five is a big birthday, typically the year kids go to school full day and that's a big deal. I hope this coming year brings this family all the blessings they deserve!

Diana's getting married!
My cousin Denise, introduced me to one of her co-workers/great friend, Diana, a couple of years ago. She is an outgoing, upbeat girl and I was surprised to find out she was single after spending the day at the beach with her. A few months ago, I was delighted to find out Diana was engaged! I couldn't be happier! Diana and Nester are getting married this year and her family and friends threw a surprise bridal shower for her at Marabella Restaurant in Bayside, Queens.
My cousin Denise knew she would not be in town to attend the shower but she made certain that Diana would feel her love and support across the miles with Babycakes as the take home treat for the guests. Diana's parents were in on the whole idea and I delivered the five dozen individually boxed chocolate cupcakes to their home.
I am super happy for this beautiful couple and hope they enjoyed at least one cupcake together! Congratulations Diana & Nestor!
