These adorable cupcakes were made for my friend Tracey and her family and also a duplicate batch made for a brand new customer named Trish. The bright colors and eager appetites of the chicks are all staple things that we see on Easter in my home and hope that they bring out the kid in all of those who indulge! This time of year is such a great time to notice all the nature around us, the little blooms sticking out of the ground, as we shed our winter coats and boots for spring jackets and enjoy the fresh air more. It is also a time to reflect about all the do overs we have, the fresh starts we get when we decide to change something, break a habit or just see the opportunity with a new beginning which is what Easter means to me. I have a couple of friends who are struggling right now with extreme circumstances and they are close in my heart as I am fortunate enough to share this holiday with my loving family, my wonderful parents in my home. Although there are many I won't see today, they are always on my mind and in my heart. Hoping you all have a HAPPY EASTER!

Megan contacted me and asked me to bake vanilla cupcakes for her friends that are soon to-be Doctors! I'm sure it felt good for them to see that title before their names, even if just o a cupcake!! Congratulations on such a huge accomplishment!

Delayed posting to blog. Date of event, March 16, 2013. Gina ordered these cupcake favors to celebrate her Mother's 70th Birthday. Her colors were white and lavender and homemade banners were requested for each little sweet take home momento.
Delayed posting to blog. Date of event - March 1, 2013. Elayna, contacted me and ordered these Super Hero cupcakes for her son, Alec who was celebrating his fourth birthday. I love that Elayna knew exactly which super heroes had to be included. I have done super hero cupcakes before but new to my fondant experience was Thor and Ironman. I was delighted she approved both designs and I was able to move forward with the order. Hope that Alec felt like a hero on his big day!
