Thank you! Thank you very much!

My friend Janeth has a heart of gold, it's no wonder she has a wide circle of friends. One of her friends, Kristen, did something so thoughtful for Janeth and would not accept monetary payment from her. Janeth asked me to bake a special batch of "Thank you" cupcakes for Kristen to show her appreciation. It's such a 'SWEET' way to show someone you care the same way as giving flowers or mailing a card but instead a personal treat for your soul and belly! Janeth's friendship always comes full circle. Remember you get what you give <3

Bella's Fabulous, Lucky, Couldn't go Better Wonderful Day!

Yesterday, Bella celebrated her 7th Birthday at Merrick Cinemas with her family and friends and what a wonderful day it was! Her parents thought of every last detail in planning her special party....just look at this gorgeous invitation that was designed and made by Debbie Costello! Amanda, Bella's Mom, contacted me about making cupcake favors for Bella's guests. The theme was movies. She decided on a popcorn bag, a film reel, a director's clanker (we're not sure what that thingee is called!) and the number SEVEN as the old time film countdown. The feature was Alexander and the Terrible Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. I attended this party with my son and we were both excited about seeing this movie. The guests were arriving, Bella was smiling wide and she greeted everyone. A little mishap with the starting time of the feature but nothing that would hinder the fun to be had. It turned out to be a GREAT day with such GREAT people I am so happy to call friends! Happy 7th Birthday beautiful, smart, kind Bella!

Minions!!

Repeat customer, Nicole contacted me to order vanilla Minion themed cupcakes for her daughter's birthday. I've done minions before but not with their classic blue overalls. I like these little guys so much!

Spongebob & Friends!

Chrissie contacted me and ordered SpongeBob themed cupcakes for her son's 7th birthday. This was the first time creating SpongeBob themed cupcakes. I'm not even familiar with the characters at all. Chrissie emailed me a few pictures for me to copycat. She also asked me to make the number 7 on the snail character. These were a lot of fun to do!

Frozen Cupcakes!

My friend Melissa contacted me and ordered Frozen themed cupcakes for her daughter's birthday celebration. This past winter has been brutal on the east coast but creating Frozen themed cupcakes still warms my heart. The kids really love the characters on their own little cupcake.
