These vanilla and chocolate cupcakes were made for my friend Kellee's son Mason who had a Laser Bounce birthday celebration. He is now FIVE and an Angry Birds fan. I'm thinking these cupcakes made him and his guests pretty happy!

My good friend Dawn ordered these cupcakes for her daughter Sami for her birthday class celebration. She texted me a picture and gave me creative liberty but I really liked the design she sent and went from there. These chocolate and vanilla cupcakes are topped with a marshmallow crème frosting that is an awesome taste combination! I hope that Sami loved her cupcakes and that she had a great celebration to kickstart her long weekend off. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMI!

My good friend Janeth requested these vanilla and chocolate cupcakes for her co-worker Tom who is celebrating TWENTY years on the job at Flight Safety. I hope Tom feels appreciated for his work and that his celebration is a hit. 20 years employed at the workplace is truly a big deal. Congratulations Tom!

My friend Inessa from high school is throwing her daughter Francesca a surprise party at her house for her 13th Birthday. Inessa came up with the cute idea to make Starbucks themed cupcakes. I found these adorable cupcake liners and she sent me a picture of a caramel and chocolate drizzled "frappe" cupcake adorned with a straw. I just love the way these came out and each of Francesca's guests will be taking one home as a party favor. I can't believe this idea has not ever been proposed to me before....I know there will be requests for these in the future. Happy 13th Birthday Francesca, you have a beautiful Mom who has put so much love and thought into your special day. XOXO

My Friend Emma asked me to make cupcakes for her Uncle Ed's 50th Birthday celebration. She expressed how much her Uncle loved the 80s and I was very excited to make these for this special occasion. Happy 50th Birthday Ed!
These beachy themed cupcakes were made for loyal customer Cathie for her block party today. She always gives me great themes to work with and a pleasure to bake for. Today, besides the warm welcome I always get when I arrive with cupcakes, she gave me a little homemade picture holder. I put my business card in it for now. How adorable is that and it made me feel very special. Thank you so much Cathie!!

These Avengers cupcakes were made for my friend Amanda who is celebrating her son's 4th birthday today! I arrived to find the whole family wearing their Avengers tee shirts. Such an adorable family! I have to admit that I am not very knowledgeable about the Avenger characters so thanks to my husband, I didn't include heroes like Spiderman or Batman here. I love working on themes especially for kids that you just won't find at your local bakery. Thank you to Amanda who always has faith in me and a very HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY to Logan who is growing up way too fast!
Late to post. These vanilla cupcakes were made for my friend Melissa for her sister's Tiffany themed shower. I love the way the little white bows came out and how everyone instantly knows the iconic Tiffany blue color. I really hope they were a hit and that everyone enjoyed them!

Cathie orders cupcakes from me more frequently than any other customer. They are almost always for her girls but this order was finally for herself! Cathie's birthday is tomorrow and she gave me free reign on the toppers. I was very happy to make these for Cathie for her weekend celebration! Thank you for your support and I hope you have a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Yes, you read that correctly. While my repeat customer Faviola was in labor for the birth of her daughter, she contacted me and ordered cupcakes. I was taken back by her timing and flattered at the same time. Her mommy instincts were already kicking in for when visitors come to see Mommy and newborn! I heard back from Faviola after baby arrived and I can report they are doing great! I know a dozen or so visitors that are going to be sweetly surprised too!

Christine planned every little detail for her husband Mike's 40th SURPRISE Birthday Bash! She contacted me and we exchanged several Star Wars themed cupcake pictures and she loved Gem's Treasures design. Although I have done Stars Wars theme in the past, this was more of a graphic design and I loved this, especially for an adult. Christine ordered these very cool labels for the individual boxes each guest received as a party favor. I just love when my boxes are "dressed up!" These vanilla cupcakes were sure to put a smile on everyone's faces and already got lots of praise before I was even able to post this on the blog. I really enjoy working with customers that are enthusiastic and flexible. Happy Birthday Mike! I'm sure your celebration was Out of This World!!

Cathy contacted me way before my busy Communion season to order these stork themed cupcakes for a Baby Shower. I knew we had plenty of time and that the date she needed was available but I needed to get through the busy season and Cathy was patiently waiting for me to go over ideas. We narrowed it down to this adorable design by Edible Details. The baby's gender is still a surprise so she selected the neutral colors and asked that I detail the baby's last name on the stork's bundle. I just love these so much! Individually packaged cupcakes are a bit more work but when the design comes together so nicely, it really was such a pleasure! I hope the Bory family enjoy these chocolate chip cupcakes!

Sarah tasted my one of my cupcakes at a family party awhile back and remembered how Jo-Ann raved about them. It's so flattering to hear that someone keeps my Babycakes taste and beauty in their mental file and pull it out when a special occasion is being planned. Laura, my college friend and repeat customer contacted me that her cousin Sarah would be getting in touch with me for cupcakes. Sarah did indeed contact me and had all the details for color and ideas ready for me. She chose orange and turquoise as the colors and little flowers and her name on some. I suggested personalized banners for some cupcakes that wouldn't have any fondant on them. She agreed, we met in Queens before the holiday weekend and her reaction is why I do what I do. She was very happy and gave me a big hug. I also loved the outcome and I'm pretty sure Jo-Ann did too. Happy 60th Birthday!

Emma is 23 and celebrating at Mulcahy's in Wantagh with her friends and getting down with real live country music. I was very excited making these custom cupcakes for her. All I had to do was put a little leopard print in there and some camouflage and the rest came from all her pinterest pins. I sometimes wish I knew Emma when I was in my twenties but when I was in my twenties, I was living in the countryside in the Pennsylvania valley and country music was even on at my workplace. This city girl wasn't happy about it but because of Emma, I am getting more and more into country music and loving all the "culture" that goes with it. Emma likes to shoot guns, drive big trucks and still maintain a bright polished girlie fashion from her head to her gorgeous nails! Are these not the hottest set of nails you've ever seen? As much as she's into a beautiful manicure, this girl is not just what you see....she is so smart and so hard working. I love her more and more and think of her as part of our family. Her home was all decorated with leopard print, balloons and even glasses with guns on em. She pays attention to detail. My wish for Emma is that she continues to reach for her goals, keeps being herself and that she feels all the love around her all year long!

My friend Janeth has a heart of gold, it's no wonder she has a wide circle of friends. One of her friends, Kristen, did something so thoughtful for Janeth and would not accept monetary payment from her. Janeth asked me to bake a special batch of "Thank you" cupcakes for Kristen to show her appreciation. It's such a 'SWEET' way to show someone you care the same way as giving flowers or mailing a card but instead a personal treat for your soul and belly! Janeth's friendship always comes full circle. Remember you get what you give <3
