Whatta man!
Or shall I say Whatta sister! My thoughtful friend, Eliana, had seen my Father's Day cupcakes and decided her brother, Ed, should also have a batch but he got his a week later and a little more custom. He loves soccer, the NY Mets and works for Con Ed. I want to mention that Eliana lives in Florida and her brother is here in NY....Much love to this family that clearly shows their love for one another no matter how many miles between them.

Happy Dad's Day!!
My cousin, Denise requested cupcakes for her hubby, Billy, for Father's Day and I wanted to convey his personality and it was almost all done for me when I found inspiration online. Thank you Jewel for coming through again and again!! I also made a batch for my brother, Billy except his were a surprise. I wish I had made a batch for every Dad, including my own but I ran out of time...So many men I know and love are great Dads and I am lucky to have the best one around. He has been known to put others before himself and lately that has been his strong suit. My husband is also a terrific "Daddy" but will be getting some cupcakes for his birthday in a couple of days so he's not complaining! Happy Father's Day to all you guys out there who give so much of your time and love to your kids!

Princess Sami Cupcakes
These princess cupcakes are for Sami who is now 2! Her Mom sent me a link of cupcakes she saw online and I tried to make them exactly alike but could not freehand the crown so I used a mold for the fondant and added the edible dragees. I had purple candy melts waiting on the sideline just in case but felt good about the fondant. I hope she felt like a princess today!

Carnival Cupcakes!
These cupcakes were made for a friend from the old neighborhood. She is a NYC girl now and it was so nice to hear from her. She requested the carnival theme since she is celebrating her birthday in a posh venue in the city called Carnival which looks like a fun, adventurous world behind closed doors! I made one batch of red velvet with homemade cream cheese frosting and another batch plain vanilla. The banners are two sided with images of vintage carnival posters and everything 'carnival' and exclaim "Happy Birthday Eileen!" on other sides. I really hope these will add to the memorable night I'm sure she will be having.

Girls' Night Out!
So excited to celebrate my best friend, Stacey's birthday ( a bit belated) and she choose to go to see this movie together as our little outing! It's girlie and fun, just like her!
Now for all you Sex and the City fans, it should be easy to figure out which cupcake represents which character from the series....I'm not thrilled with how the cosmopolitan drink came out but I just couldn't think of an obvious symbol for this character. I look forward to having a real cosmo with the girls after the chick flick and having a lot of laughs!!
