A Cupcake Picture Puzzle
These are not for a child but for my beautiful Mom. I wanted to do something I have not done before and love it. The design idea came from BathBaby Cakes and I made a white dog (Chico) instead of a lamb.
I could write a huge tribute to the kind of person my Mom is and the valuable lessons she teaches me but instead I will say that no one on this planet loves me and my brother like my Mom does. Her love is unlike any love I have felt in my lifetime from anyone else. She is amazing and kind and makes my heart full whenever I think of her.
Feliz Cumpleanos Mommy!

Jaydah's Birthday Puppies
Sink your Jaws into this!
My friend Mary is a very devoted customer. She asked me to bake for her son, John's 9th Birthday....the usual cupcake "burgers" that her family and friends love. They go with any theme really and always a hit. This time around, the "beef patty" (brownie)baked extra big so they look like quarter pounders!
Mary also asked me to make a cupcake cake with the theme being water. I thought maybe a sailboat, some fishes but then she said shark. I browsed around and a smiling shark that reminded me of the one from the movie, Finding Nemo, and thought it was perfect. Copied the design from CakesbyRenee and added my own seaweed and sea bottom. I love the way it looks!
I know this year is going to be a memorable one for John, Happy Birthday!!

"Home Sweet Home"
My friend Suzanne is pulling no stops when welcoming her new neighbor to the neighborhood! I was so excited when I got this request from her. It was really fun making a variety of designs (most of them inspired by one of my favorite bloggers, Lynlee).
You never get a second chance to make a first impression and Suzanne is getting started on the right foot with this sweet gesture! Wouldn't you like to be her neighbor?

For the Groom...
I met Michele when we were working together in an office many years ago and she brought a lot of laughter and love to work with her each day. I looked forward to seeing her and working with her, she was professional but never hesitated to shine the spotlight on someone's good fortune and happiness with her thoughtful surprise office festivities. I no longer work with Michele but have maintained a treasured friendship with her over the years. She is still working in the office we where we met and still celebrating the wonderful milestones in her co-workers' lives. She asked me to make these "Groom Cakes" for a fellow co-worker who will be wed this coming weekend. It's a great feeling to know that people like Michele always go the extra mile to boost another's spirits and to acknowledge such special times!!
Meghan's Butterfly Cupcakes!
Mary, Meghan's Mom, ordered these vanilla and chocolate Butterfly cupcakes to celebrate her SIXTH Birthday! Mary & I were pregnant at the same time and my due date was after Meghan but my daughter decided to come more than a month early...I think of that each time I think of Meghan.
Meghan celebrated her birthday at Adventureland in Farmindale, NY. That alone is a certain to be a party for everyone to enjoy and remember. I'm happy to hear the cupcakes were a hit!!

Happy Birthday John & Ava!!!
It's been awhile since I've seen the Rozzo family but it warms my heart that I am reserved to bake for the birthdays they celebrate. John who is turning FIVE wanted Scooby Doo cupcakes and his cousin, Ava, who is also turning FIVE wanted her very own castle and all things princess! These vanilla and chocolate cupcakes all turned out pretty great!
Erin, always remembers the adults when she hosts a party. These chocolate chip sprinkled cupcakes are for them!
It feels so good to know that no matter how much time goes by, real friends are there to support each other. I really love and care for this family and feels great to be a part of these special times!

Olivia's Soccer Team
These cupcakes were ordered by my high school girlfriend, Suzanne. Suzanne has been ordering cupcakes for her Garden City community and getting lots of praise for the thoughtfulness! Suzanne's oldest daughter, Olivia, is on a soccer team and these cupcakes are all personalized for the girls on soccer jerseys in their team colors with their actual numbers and first names. I know they will love seeing their very own cupcake when they meet up later this evening.
Thank you for always being so supportive of my work and for ordering cupcakes and thinking of ways to surprise the kids that eat them!

Strawberry Shortcake for Charlotte!
Charlotte is a lucky girl. Her Mom, Deihdra, ordered these Strawberry Shortcake cupcakes and asked me to also include her friend, Lemon Meringue. Charlotte is lucky because her Mom asked Aunt Laura to pick up these cupcakes on the way to her house all the way in New Jersey! Looks to me like Charlotte has a lot of love on her special day to celebrate her 6th Birthday!

Ladybug Love!
Little ladybugs for Brynn's FIRST Birthday! I've been baking for this little darling since she was in her Mommy's belly! Brynn's Aunt Eileen always calls on me to bake up cupcakes for all those special occasions and it's always my pleasure. This time, she emailed me a picture of what the cake would look like so I can create something that would make a great combo. I topped the vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with white gerber daisies and tiny ladybugs for the centers and the red velvets with the number ONE on red and black bases.
The theme for Brynn's first birthday party is ladybugs and guests were even asked to dress in red/black. The backyard was in full ladybug mode and Brynn's Mom even made her own cupcake stand for these! Aunt Eileen promised me some pictures to post so hoping you'll see how beautifully they were displayed and perhaps see the cake these accompanied too! BTW, the beautiful cake was made at Dortoni Bakery in Levittown, NY.
Happy FIRST Birthday Brynn!!
Happy Birthday Riley!
There's lots of cupcakes here for two special celebrations. Riley is SIX years old and her Mom, Korrine contacted me to order these mermaid and baseball cupcakes for Riley's birthday party guests. The minis are for the adults (I love when parents are mindful of them!). The last batch are for two women celebrating later in the evening, Maia & Paula. Korrine really made sure to cover all her bases and did so while she was on a business trip, multitasking at it's finest!
I'm sure everyone will enjoy their sweet treats today!
