These cupcakes were made to bid farewell to a West Islip young man moving to Charlotte, North Carolina to practice law. These custom chocolate and chocolate chip cupcakes were ordered by my friend Lindsay. Lindsay came up with each idea and designed this order herself. It will be a bittersweet day I am sure for this gathering but it makes me happy to be able to create these little edible expressions!
Repeat customer, Robyn, hit me up with a cupcake order for her daughter Emily's 12th Birthday. Robyn asked me to make a variety of toppers that represent who Emily is right now. I love when I hear from Robyn, the batch is always very personal, they tell us about the celebrant. So Emily got personalized cupcakes with sprinkles, her age, a Cinderella (could not simulate glass) slipper, flowers and a bloomies little brown bag!
When I delivered the cupcakes, Robyn told me of her surprise party plans and how excited Emily would be to see these cupcakes because they would also be a surprise. See, I was working at a job 5 days a week up till this month and had slowed down Babycakes dramatically. Robyn told me that the cupcakes was all Emily had requested! Robyn did not make any promises since she was unsure I would be taking orders so Emily was going to be totally shocked. It touched my heart to know this little girl asked specifically for Babycakes. So very glad that Robyn called and I was more than happy to make these!! Happy Birthday Emily!
My loyal customer, Lindsay contacted me and asked me to make if I would make cupcakes for a pre wedding celebration. She needed chocolate cake, white icing, white edible pearls and asked if I could monogram the initials JTJ and wedding date below it. I used different fonts and printed them with edible ink on wafer paper and applied to homemade fondant. Lindsay had me box one dozen individually and the other dozen easily accessible. They came out very simple stated yet extremely unique and personal! Lindsay works at Jericho Schools and always has faith in me, giving me new ideas! These chocolate and vanilla babycakes were delivered to Howard Beach, NY for two special birthday celebrations this weekend! Anna ordered four dozen Hello Kitty themed cupcakes for her daughter's school celebration today and her birthday bash happening tomorrow. Feels great to know that kids are able to enjoy these at some schools keeping it very custom.
Aren't these simply the perfect treat while treating oneself? Spa themed cupcakes for a beautiful girl's birthday party hosted at Divas N Dolls in Wantagh, N.Y! The birthday girl is going to receive the pampering and blissful time while celebrating her birthday with friends and family. Each girl is getting a mani/pedi, light makeup while in their cozy fluffy robes and listening to some custom beats by a live D.J. Very posh and indulgent kind of day to party!
Thank you Melissa for having faith in me when I admitted to not having made the cucumber faces or robes before....it was a fun theme and I think it fit perfectly with the venue! Happy Birthday Gabby!
These angry little birds are flying into the mouths of those celebrating Dylan's birthday. I love this theme and hope the birthday guests love eating these up! I have not made three dimensional toppers by hand in awhile and it felt great getting into a groove with these angry birds! Hope it makes Dylan and his family very HAPPY!
These cupcakes are for a birthday celebration for my friend's nephew, Dylan. I love the way them came out!! I got so nervous when asked to make cupcakes with the TMNT theme....I researched and found the RoseBakes.com design and it was easier than I thought. This whole dozen took me under an hour to create! Needless to say, I will not let my nerves steer me again.

One of my favorite customers, Cathie, is hosting a Poker night! Actually, it's Pokeno and Left Right Center but really it's all about having some great old fashioned fun with friends. Cathie's kids are sleeping out at Grandma's and the poker party is on!

So I got a text and email from Elayna who wanted Skylander themed cupcakes for her youngest son, Alec. Elayna is a repeat customer and it was great to hear from her again. These chocolate chip cupcakes are all adorned with fondant toppers of Skylander symbols. I met the birthday boy today when delivering the cupcakes and he was happy with the result! Happy 5th Birthday Alec!!
These chocolate cupcakes adorned with fondant flowers and personalized banners were made for Christina's Bridal Shower. Christina provided the clear boxes, the ribbons and labels. Her soon to be sister in-laws, Dina and Janeth came over and we folded all seven dozen boxes and made sure the ribbon was placed under each label. The finished favors turned out to be so beautiful. When I delivered the cupcakes to the shower, the bridesmaids and mother of the bride were very busy transforming the room. There were pops of hot pink and light pink and beautiful centerpieces that they brought in and arranged. I was impressed with how lovely the room looked with all their décor. Christina is surely to feel the love from all the thought and work that went into making her day so special. The venue, City Cellar is a beautiful restaurant and I've added it to the list of places I'd love to dine at. I just love how dressed up my Babycakes were!
