Troop #3182 Brownies Rock!
These chocolate and vanilla cupcakes were made for Girl Scout Brownie Troop #3182. Requested by Brownie Mom, Diana for a meeting taking place tomorrow. I'm sure these custom treats will make these Brownies feel pretty special!
Benihana Birthday!
New customer, Diana, heard about Babycakes through her sister who referred me. (Always love that!!) Diana wanted asked me to make cupcakes for her daughter Cassandra who is celebrating her 11th Birthday with family and friends at Benihana (Japanese restaurant for those who may not know). I loved this celebration idea and we decided on a Japanese theme. All design credit goes to Lynlee's Petite Cakes. When I saw the Geisha girl, I was in love!
Happy Birthday Cassandra, so happy you loved the delivery!
His and Hers Cupcakes
Repeat customer, Aida, contacted me and asked me to create cupcakes for both her son and daughter. For him, the vanilla fireman themed cupcakes (design credit goes to Be Sweet, By Maria and Lynlee's Petite Cakes). The chocolate cupcakes decorated with pastel colored butterflies and tiny flowers were for her daughter! Enjoy the sweet treats!

Class of 93 Reunion!
Sandy went to the same high school as a friend of mine who organized last year's reunion. She contacted me and wanted to order cupcakes for her Class Reunion held at Port Jazz in Port Jefferson, NY. I was happy to! Sandy decided to do half of the order with banners and edible gold sprinkles and the other half with fondant.
As I walked up the leopard carpeted steps of the club, I couldn't believe a whole year had passed since I had delivered cupcakes for the same event. Made me feel great that my friend Marc passed my name along. The loyalty and support is very appreciated!

God Bless Cody on his Baptism!
My friend Kelly had three boys and her youngest, Cody, was baptized today. Kelly wanted three dozen cupcakes for Cody's celebration and I loved that she wanted a design with is name on a fondant banner. This was a new addition to the traditional requests I get for religious milestones. Very personal and in sync with other toppers.
I hope that Cody's life is full of God's blessings.
Vineyard Cupcakes for Lori's Bachlorette Party!
Alyssa contacted me far in advance for these cupcakes made especially for Lori's Weekend Bachelorette Party at the vineyards on Eastern Long Island. It was a welcome change to the typical orders I get most of the time.
Alyssa had specific requests and sent me a picture for each design she found online. She wanted a special cupcake for her bride to-be sister, Lori. A heart with an engagement ring, some grapes on the vine, cork screws and corks and some martini glasses with teeny flowers and lingerie! It was fun making several designs with her laid out map of pictures. When I create an order for someone I've never met, it's easier for me when they are able to show me their likes/dislikes and planning with Alyssa made this order snuff any doubts out.
I hope Lori liked her sweet surprise while away with her wedding party celebrating her upcoming wedding!
Happy 40th Birthday Colleen!
These mini cupcakes are Colleen's favorites. Colleen is a faithful customer who ordered custom 40th Birthday mini cupcakes for her husband's party a year ago and decided to get some for her Birthday too! She had a pink and black theme, emailed me a photo she found online a very simple design and here they are!
I arrived at Colleen's home and could not resist snapping a shot of a cute sign her friends ordered for her party! Happy 40th Birthday Colleen!!
Logan's Skylander Cupcakes!
These Skylander cupcakes were made for Logan who recently turned SEVEN years old! Logan has been a big part of our lives for the past couple of years. He charmed my daughter through Kindergarten and they've remained good friends, his parents have also become our good friends. We always joke about being in-laws someday but no rushing these very cherished young years!
I honestly had not heard of Skylanders before and had to research it a bit and came up with the "elements" design online. I wish I could find the person or bakery who came up with the original design but found no name. Logan loved them, along with his cousin Brian and that confirmed to me I did a good job.
Logan had a traditional backyard party with fun for everyone, games and a new pool and good food and best of all great company! The highlight of the party was Nature Nick who comes with many exotic animals in tow and educates the guests with interesting facts and a real hands on experience with some very unique and beautiful animals. He is animated and had everyone engaged with interest! I can scratch visiting Australia off my bucket list since I was so very lucky to have pet a gorgeous innocent dwarf kangaroo at Logan's party! Such a fun memory I will always cherish!
A great big Thank you to Logan and his wonderful family for making us feel at home each time we are all together. Happy Birthday to one of the coolest little boys I know!
Madi's Sweet Masquerade 16!
I have a niece who makes me feel very special and very loved. Her name is Madisen and she has won me over with her beautiful way of expressing her feelings through art, poetry, writing, and her hugs. Have I mentioned she gives the ultimate hugs? Madisen has only been in our family for two years but her demonstrative love and her connection with us makes us feel like there's never been a time we have not had her in our lives to love and nurture. Madisen recently celebrated her Sweet Sixteen and was a hands on planner along with her parents, Denise & Billy. The theme was Masquerade (a first for me) and her décor and the variety of masks that guests would wear made the night especially fun!
Madisen had the traditional candle lighting where she expressed her thoughts and feelings of those she felt are a significant part of her journey. She made the room full of guests laugh and cry. I personally feel so proud of her adjustment to being with us and living in NY. Some of her Oregon roots were there in attendance which made the night so meaningful and special for her and for us.
Madisen is also my God daughter which makes me feel very honored to be involved in her life and in this celebration. Thank you for this gift, I treasure our relationship!
Her favors were all vanilla cupcakes with blue icing, silver sprinkles and fondant masks, each hand made and individually decorated.
